About Us

Teal 2 Heal is a non-profit organization that raises awareness about ovarian cancer and supports women and families in Central Wisconsin. It was founded in 2017 by Michelle Olszewski, who is an ovarian cancer survivor. Teal 2 Heal provides comfort bags to women fighting ovarian cancer, and they host 3 annual events to raise awareness: Annual Golf Tournament, Cornhole Tournament, and Walk of Feats. Hello!

I am Michelle Olszewski, and I am the founder and President of Teal 2 Heal! I started this organization because I am a survivor of Ovarian Cancer, and I found that there were not many organizations and support for women with Ovarian Cancer. My goal is to support women in their fight against ovarian cancer and ultimately, raise more awareness about ovarian cancer. My dream is that one day we will see just as much "teal" in the world as we see "pink" or "red" and any other well known disease out there. My hope for you in visiting our site is that you will learn more about ovarian cancer, and ultimately, partner with us to continue to raise awareness in the Central Wisconsin area and support the women who are fighting this disease everyday. For those women who are fighting this disease, you don't have to fight alone! Teal 2 Heal is here for you and from one survivor to a future survivor, you've got this!

"My motivation stems from the personal journey of a close friend who battled and triumphed over ovarian cancer, now serving as the organization's President. Witnessing her strength inspired me to contribute to the cause, offering support to individuals navigating through the challenges of this silent killer. I believe that by providing support and raising awareness, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of women confronting this disease. By keeping our efforts close to home, we directly impact and uplift those in our community during their challenging journey."

Comfort Bags

Teal 2 Heal takes pride in helping local Ovarian Cancer patients. One way in doing so is with comfort bags. Comfort bags are designed to help Ovarian Cancer patients during treatment and beyond. The bags consist of a fun teal bag, teal bandana, knit cap, t-shirt, Mary Kay foot lotion, koozie, key chain, pendant, teal ribbon, 100 Questions & Answers about Ovarian Cancer book, pillow, hot and cold shoulder wrap, lap blanket, lip balm, Wes & Co. hair certificate, and a note from us! We deliver these bags to local cancer centers, and they then hand out the bags to ovarian cancer patients as they see fit.
